Farmer Connect is the farmer’s own app. It shows what the dairy’s records show: each pouring with fat and SNF, what the milk poured so far is worth before the bill is run, and every bill by payment cycle. It is free for farmers, so the dairy needs no printout and no SMS to keep farmers informed.

The flow is short on purpose. The farmer adds their account by scanning a QR code, then opens the home screen with two buttons: My Bills and Unbilled Estimates. Every pouring appears with its fat and SNF; bills appear by payment cycle with their details.
Because the account is added by scanning, the farmer is linked to the right vendor record in procurement from the first day, and everything the dairy records against that vendor appears in the app.
Step by step
- Install Farmer Connect from the Downloads page or Google Play.
- Scan the QR code to add the farmer account.
- Open the home screen: My Bills and Unbilled Estimates.

As soon as the milk is saved at the centre, the acknowledgement reaches the farmer’s phone, within 10 seconds. My Milk Pourings lists each pouring with fat and SNF.
Unbilled Milk Estimates show, instantly, what the milk poured since the last bill is worth, before the bill has been run. The farmer does not have to wait for the cycle to end to know where they stand.

Bills
BillsMy Bills and bill details
My Bills lists the farmer’s bills by payment cycle. Opening a bill shows the details in two screens: the summary and the day-by-day lines, with the additions and deductions that the procurement bill applied.
Bills and acknowledgements are shown in the app, and delivery notes and invoices are available there too, so the farmer has a full record on the phone.

- Open My Bills.
- Choose the payment cycle.
- Open the bill summary, then the daily details.

Rolling the app out is a centre-by-centre job: the in-charge helps each farmer install it and scan the QR code, and from the next pouring the acknowledgements arrive on the farmer’s phone.

Farmer Connect, no printed bills
Each farmer sees bills for every payment cycle, unbilled quantity, each pouring (date, shift, litres, FAT, SNF, rate) and an estimate for the current cycle. The app is on Google Play and works with the AMCC and Chilling Centre apps.
